We can run on 64 bit...

Accidentally, I found out that the code can run (well, at least start), on 64 bit. Few of the commits today were the ones that made it compile successfully.

In the process, the thing grew from pure-C into Lua+C. (After all, dynamic languages do have some advantages :)
